Goa Churches

The architecture displays tiered frontispiece, framework that is meticulously executed with different types of line and hollow subdivisions. Most of the churches are perfectly located at the most popular sightseer attraction. People belonging to diverse religions and caste are seen visiting Goan churches. Goan houses several Churches and convents that have made place in the “UNESCO World Heritage Site”.

The Older part of Goa chiefly comprises of churches that are associated to a mixture of worshippers. This basically includes the Se Cathedral, St Francis of Assisi, the church of S. Caetano, and especially, the Basilica of Bom Jesus.

Basilica of Bom Jesus, well-known right through the Roman Catholic human race in view of the fact that it surrounds the sepulcher and mortal remains of St.Francis Xavier.  This structure was completed in the year 1605.

Se Cathedral, house of worship was put together in a very intriguing traditionalist Tuscan technique and is stunning in terms of its size. It is considered to be a Cross of Miracles and also that it grows in size and has healing properties. Convent & Church of St.

Francis of Assisi puts on view excellent enhancing paintwork, woodcarving, and floor that are executed with richly imprinted gravestone representations that entice the onlookers.  The Church of St. Alex - Curtorim which is situated about 8 to 9 kilometers from Margao is one of the most ancient oldest churches in Goa that was constructed in the year 1597.
